I am a mid-aged person and like most others that I had my body checked on the level of Cholesterol for the past few years. Below are the records:

I am a small fellow. If I do not tell, people would not know I have high cholesterol and high triglycerides and they had been on the rise since 2005. I am an ordinary person like most guys, loving good food & drinks,and not abstaining myself from the desire of good taste. Well, this explains why I have high Cholesterol especially I joined the mobs for big feasts from time to time。
I personally do not feel anything wrong with the high cholesterol. Early this year, In a body check, I was warned about the level of atherosclerosis 動脈粥樣化 that was forming on my arteria. I knew it wouldn't kill me immediately, so I kept on having good food and enjoying freedom of taste. However, judging from the level of fat cumulated on my belly and around my waist, I knew the level of Cholesterol and Triglycerides this year would increase significantly.
I did the examination last week. The record shows the Cholesterol-total went down by 0.6 (in fact, I guess it went down by at least 0.8 because it was on the rise); the triglycerides went down to a normal level. Was it a magic or a miracle?
No. It was the result of fasting 辟谷 and thanks to my younger brother who had tried hard and experimenting himself with different ways to find a solution to his fatty liver. Fasting was the effective solution he's found.
I am glad to see the result of 辟谷 and I knew cholesterol was stubborn and it would not be got ridden of in one go. So I will try another fasting program in Jan 2011. Hope next time, I can reduce its level back to normal.
