I had a rather strange online shopping experience today. While those companies might consider this normal, shoppers see it differently. My main issue? I was required to read and accept their terms, conditions, and privacy policy just to start a simple enquiry—long before I even decided to buy anything.
Compared to online shopping in mainland China, Hong Kong online shopping is simply unacceptable. Its existence is largely due to Hong Kong's robust protectionist system, allowing it to continue living off its past successes.
